Troop Packing
Supporting Deployed Military Troops – Since ARW embraces the ideal that only a strong America can remain a free America, we actively support our Texas-based military. Often during the year, we host Packing Parties to assemble care packages of donated items for sending to deployed military troops stationed around the globe. It’s our way of saying, thank you for your sacrifice, we know it’s not easy.
Family Support
Supporting Our Troops’ Families – Through other donations and collaborations, ARW ensures our troops’ families here at home are remembered during holidays and when it’s time for back to school. We believe caring for the families of our deployed troops is also a way to care for our troops. We assist in sorting and distributing Back to School supplies, gather holiday clothing for spouses of the troops, and collect toys and gift cards as Christmas gifts.
Political Activities
Voter Engagement Project
ARW is committed to encouraging civic participation and strengthening our electoral process. Through our Voter Engagement Project, trained Volunteer Deputy Registrars (VDRs) help eligible Texans register to vote by assisting with voter registration applications and promoting voter awareness throughout the community. By helping citizens take the first step in the voting process, ARW members play an important role in fostering informed and engaged participation in our democracy.
Abbott Impact empowers Texans to make a difference through grassroots action. The platform gives conservatives the tools to connect with voters, share campaign messages, make calls, knock doors, and engage their communities—all from one easy-to-use app. Participants can earn points for their efforts and redeem them for exciting rewards while helping advance conservative values across Texas.
Candidate Support
ARW is committed to electing Republican candidates who champion conservative values and strong leadership. Through fundraising, volunteer service, and grassroots engagement, our members actively support campaigns and help make a lasting impact at the local, state, and national levels.
Barbara Bush Literacy Program
Austin Republican Women proudly supports the Barbara Bush Literacy Program, an initiative built on the belief that literacy opens the door to opportunity, achievement, and lifelong success. Inspired by former First Lady Barbara Bush's vision of helping every man, woman, and child secure a better life through literacy, ARW is committed to promoting the importance of reading and education within our communities.

Throughout the year, ARW members collect and donate books to local schools, libraries, shelters, and community organizations, helping place valuable educational resources into the hands of children and families. Through these efforts, we strive to encourage a love of reading, support lifelong learning, and help create brighter futures for generations to come.
