Join ARW as we reach out to our military on duty and in harm's way.  It is our mission to do whatever we can to make their tours more successful.  Whether they are in an office waiting to 'hurry up" or in the trenches "hurrying up" to stay alive, it is our duty to keep the home fires burning and to let our military know that we support them in every possible way.Our "Caring for America" project this year is called "Caring for America's Troops."  Last year's Chairman, Kathy Webster has done an awesome job getting letters and packages to the sons, daughters, nieces, nephews, cousins, husbands and wives of our loved ones, whether family or friend, or even "friend of friend." 

We will be bringing you updates on "our soldiers" at this website, as they come in to us.  We package and ship requested items and notes of encouragement on a regular basis.  We will let you know if there are specific requests; often times, they just say, "We'll appreciate ANYTHING sent from home."  I will publish a list of acceptable and unacceptable items at the end of this page.

Our ARW budget provides for only a very small portion of the funds needed for this project.  We depend on your donations to make this undertaking a success.  As you are able, please donate cash or goods to our cause; if that is beyond your means, please write some encouraging, newsy, uplifting notes that we can include in our packages. 

I will be publishing some pictures and "thank-you" notes we have received from our military who have already gotten their packages.  This correspondence is very enlightening, and it will also melt your hearts.  If you have a member of the military that you would like to add to our group, please contact me and I'll get the necessary information from you.
